Lenny, The title says 28/29 tire size, then the thread says 28/275. Which is it? A 275 is a 28" tire. Can you clarify please???

It's 28/275. I edited the general rules, but couldn't edit the title to reflect the correction.

Anyone else besides Mark King, Ed Graul, Chillerman, and Josh Nesbitt that plan on making this race. Just trying to get a rooster up to see what the field will look like. Hopefully, we can get a 16 car field.

What time gates open and what time are y'all planning on starting the actual races not the just passes down the track

We are shooting for 7:30. We are shooting for 7. We want to get started early as possible. Only downfall is alot of people don't want to race when it's hot. We will push as hard as we can to start on time, so that the dew don't catch us at night.

I don't understand the Tags, Why not just post them??

Heat don't bother me all the class heads up racing i go you start qualfying at noon and race at 5ish

I agree with you Josh. And both lanes have to deal with the heat, so it's no advantage. Starting early us the key to getting this race completed at a decent time.

and please try and have the track preped good so we can see some side by side racing and not single passes.

i would absoulutely run this but the 275 rule keeps me away. I run bigger than that on my everyday street tire. 285 front/315 rear

I could run a 295 square setup but that wouldnt work either

Kind of funny I could qualify on my drag wheels/tires but not my street setup. seems crazy to me

For your sake you better hope it not prepped cause last time i was there i threw out good numbers and it wasnt even prepped if it prepped good I'm gone throw it at the track hard:Finger2: lol

Got a few guys asking if we can make ur a 28/29" Shootout. For those that are entering this race, whats ur take on thier request?

I think I have the new turbo working now so mid 150 mph should be the norm so good luck

It doesn't make any difference to me. If it helps in getting the car count up, I'm all for it. We are gonna get in where we fit in anyways.

If you have the track set on kill (good prep), please keep the street tires and grocery getters off the track for this race day. They peel up all the sticky stuff yall put down, and makes it harder for the race cars to make the trip down the 660'.

Also let's start before 7 so we can get a test hit before we run our opponents.

Keeps clutter out of the thread. I have no problem owning up to any of my tags and I made all but one of these.

I'm against the idea the whole time it been advertised as 28 tire race so i think that what it should be.i don't think it right to change rules few day before the race. If you want them there make there own class for them.....
