Made a few passes on the new build
Ran 9.01, 9.05 and 9.08 all in the low 160s on the worst track prep i have ever seen
ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu Hennessey and Lonestar Motorsports Park this pass was the 9.01@164 with a 1.86 60 foot, that should be in the 1.4 range with decent prep. i even short shifted second to try to keep it from spinning. Anyways the car should go deep into the 8s at 17x when shes all dialed in at a good track <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/5ujB0GrR5c4?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I want to NOT like this car. I really do, but damn. Its just badass.

Lol. Did it have heated leather seats and navigation? What kind of eighth mile numbers are you running?

should go high 5s when dialed in |
That's just crazy

You should get someone to put you in the groove next time.

I agree with Shawn, but that car is too fast to be denied. I have run high 8's in the quarter with my car but I don't have any amenities like AC and power steering. Impressive..:bigthumb:
|
Very impressive. What tires were you on?

It's from this vidio of the new '14 F1 car. Pretty cool animation explaining the changes. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hFHmYFlbFn8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cHtVg8PiTTQ?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> if you watch the F1 video, the car's dont have a Posi at the end, they do a huge cartooned in one wheel peel |
And just like that all those 9.70 passes seem like childsplay...I own a turtle
|
That doesnt surprise me about the track prep. Sealy is very hit or miss and usually a miss more than anything. The actual track, shutdown, and facility as a whole is very nice but its obvious they don't care about drag racing there.
Are you running 4 drag radials or normal street tires? 17xmph in the 1/4 in a street car is pretty crazy. How close do you think your car will come to the 200mph barrier? |
