Charleston Performance Solutions picture thread
Everyone likes pictures... right? We will post pics from time to time to keep you guys up to date on some of the projects we are taking on.
:bigthumb: Big thanks to Darryl and Derek Smith for sending a crew over to make this office ours after Joe knocked down a wall to give us a bit more space. Hope to have it all wrapped up and the floor epoxied next week sometime. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...30615292_n.jpg Just got this bitch overnighted from Japan. Sticking it in an 01 IS300 and converting to a single turbo. Might have those Griffin guys build the transmission too. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...71155630_n.jpg David brought us his GTR to install his swift lowering springs. This car will be attending two rallies this year and will be wrapped by pleasant details. The cool thing about the wrap is that it will remain on the car for a year and we will have a nice section on it for advertisement. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...34088305_n.jpg This car was just purchased at the autofair and will be coming to us for some ElecTech tune action and suspension upgrades. Big thanks to Jamison Corvette for the referral. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...68003676_n.jpg https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...87725065_n.jpg Accidental photography out of the cell phone. Nice truck that is begging for an LS. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...dc&oe=53DBC832 We didn't expect to have this come in the door! Big thanks to Griffin Transmission for the TrueTrac/4.11/hardened axle install. Should be going to Badbob soon for duals and then getting a bunch of odds and ends fixed up. https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...59441145_n.jpg https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...10847925_n.jpg We are even putting a honda motor or two together. https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...60137731_n.jpg Some random stuff here as well. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...84115575_n.jpg https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...11685514_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...81469154_n.jpg https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...38562107_n.jpg https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...94074383_n.jpg https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...87331145_o.jpg https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...84919454_n.jpg https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...98202518_n.jpg https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...79342721_n.jpg |

Won't be long now I hope. |
You know we are ready when you are.

Very cool, glad to see you guys are staying busy and getting your hands on pretty much everything!
|
sent a guy from my church down with a old Jeep Grand Cherokee, dies after while, then cranks back up later on, runs fine,....then dies again.

I need to swing by there soon!

We ended up having a great turn out, despite the weather. Marty and Mike busted ass and spun 29 cars in total! Here are a few pictures I was able to grab while wrangling the crowd.
Ended up throwing the CTS-V on the rollers and made some good power. I hope someone got a video of the car throwing flames. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...45894569_n.jpg Not your average FRS. https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...38546884_n.jpg Some vette action. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...62651925_n.jpg Another V. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...25884417_n.jpg K swapped hatch. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...50577099_n.jpg One of my favorites for the day. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...01870527_n.jpg https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...89847263_n.jpg Kenny turning em over. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...25500520_n.jpg Extra sketchy! This thing has an older 600cc motor on it. https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...46656092_n.jpg Jonathan and his race truck on 35's https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...46998942_n.jpg Lunch for the day... https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...38076894_n.jpg Big thanks to everyone who helped out and made it possible! We will be doing it again in a couple of months. |
29! Congrats on meeting and surpassing your goal.

EDIT: his facebook said 218 was max, traction control was putting it into limp mode, and they couldn't get it disabled. |
I heard around 218 as well. Kind of disappointing given the cost of the kit/labor..

Innovate Motorsports has announced the release of their high performance twin screw supercharger system for Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 vehicles. The all new system includes Innovate’s proprietary twin screw supercharger, high performance aluminum intake manifold, molded intake tubing and all necessary hardware. Bolt-on installation can be completed in as little as 4 hours with simple hand tools. During the design, extra attention was given to make the system install like original equipment by including features such as specially constructed wiring extension harnesses that plug-in into factory connectors, pre-cut vacuum hoses, black powder coating, and a pre-assembled “bolt on and go” supercharger intake manifold assembly. In addition, the OEM air box and MAF sensor location are retained to maintain OEM driving characteristics.
Features: Complete “preassembled” supercharger system with all necessary hardware for installation Twin screw supercharger (positive displacement) delivers immediate boost at any RPM Proprietary twin screw rotor design provides superior efficiency and reduced intake temperatures Incredible low and midrange torque gains. Eliminates the large “torque dip” experienced with the production 2.0L engine. High performance cast aluminum intake manifold provides improved performance OEM quality and fitment Very low maintenance (supercharger oil change required every 30,000 miles) Available now as a "Tuner Kit" with no calibration for off road use only (CARB EO is in process) For off-road use only Power Specs: Max Power Estimated: 211.57 at 6600 RPM Max Torque Estimated: 178.28 Fuel Used: 91 Octane https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...88402807_o.jpg http://www.myfacewhen.net/uploads/4008-hmm.jpg |
drag pack adds 29hp
|
I guess they've only made one pulley and the cars turn into jello pops if you put anything other than 91 in them!
|
Thats a shitastic looking graph.
|
Well, he sold the car, lol.
He's now in a manual Camaro SS...... |
