thanks, still alot of work left to do, but figured i would have some fun on saturday and took it out there,, but had alot of fun

im down to do that, let me get my issue squared away and im down

Just because your "little 4.6" can outrun all the built Lightnings with regular street tires (not drag radials), does that mean your faster? I'm sure if JMD wanted to set it up for drag racing, it would run well.

well, I didnt want to be too much of a dick, but since youre begging for it....If I get from the dam tree to the other end of the track before the guy next to me, THAT MEANS IM FASTER! I know its rocket science and all. Hell, I didnt even get my degree, and its very obvious that you didnt even start a lesson yet.

and yea, on the gayest race ever thought of, your SUV would be faster. Maybe you should try settin that up with someone to get you a "W"

Let me make it simple. If that GTO ever makes it to the track I will bet YOU he will outrun you. Slicks and drag radials were meant for cars with enough power to need them. What percent of the crowd at the track cares about watching cars with regular street tires battle it out anyway?

Please please please get him out there with slicks and skinnies. GTO's axles are strong as hell, no worries! Ill bring my sisters explorer for that race, cuz he'll be sittin like the blue one with silver stripes....right at about the 30' mark, broke.

Now just wait a minute here. I wasn't even in this conversation, but since you brought me into it- Yes I snapped an axle at the track- why? because I have enough hp to do it- they were stock axles- "were" is the right word. not any more. And I didn't "sit" at the 30' mark, I made it all the way down the track & back down the return lane & to the parking lot( it was towed from there & fixed the next day). So you've never broken anything? I guess it just goes to show you don't have enough power to break anything then.

So- bring your sisters exploder out next time I'm at the track or if you wanta meet on the street I'd be much ablidged!:flame:
