All jokes aside, Nitrous is my power adder of choice. Easier for me to use nitrous to run 10's in the 1/8th mile than actually do mods. :D :D |

until a smaller cubic inch motor with more weight gaps you. |
Nitrous is fine until it is all out. Then you have to go out and find some more to get your fix. Before long, you are hopelessly addicted to it and will do most anything to keep getting your fix. :hysterical:

Damn yall got me on 2 addictions...... eccept the 2nd one, I quit it and use the 3rd one to replace it. |
I fill my own, its the way to go if you use enough of it..:bigthumb:
|
not me all motor
|
I fill my own. Tried the Parks thing. They only fill your bottle to 80% of capacity. I guess they don't to be responsible for over-filling.
|
When I was there I sold it for $4/lb all the time, wasn't getting rich or anything by any means. I just found out today nitrous here is $6/lb so it looks like I will be getting two mother bottles again. I about fell over at $6/lb.

You can get the full 10 lbs. in there using the freezing the bottle method, as that is the way I'm doing it. Actually the first time I filled mine, it was about 3/4 lbs. overcharged according to my refrigerant scale. My process takes about 3 hours to fill the bottle. It's pretty slow since I'm only using a 1/4' line. |
I got a boy to "overfill" mine at Parks when DB doesnt have any, or is out of town.
|
Obviuosly there's no consistancy in their filling methods, or who does the filling either. I hope this boy is experienced in high pressure cylinder handling. One wrong move can cost them their life.

It won't be a problem when the weather is cool. But on a hot day, there is no room for expansion in the bottle. I hope you have a relief valve on your cylinder.

Just because you run 6's on motor dosent mean your fast enough to not need nitrous. Like my brother said. His car runs 6's on motor and we still spray it. All on pump gas and its a very streetable car. You cant put limits on yourself like that. As time goes on the bar gets raised. If you dont keep up with the curve you will get left behind. I can remember when low 7's were stupid fast for a street car. And to tell you the truth high 6's isnt anything special anymore. Not trying to be a smart ass. Its just the way it is. |

Hal's got it. I usually fill up in your backyard, but no sense in filling up a bottle that's still full. Hopefully the tune I just loaded to the car is what it needed and I can start driving this turd again...... |
