Big Daddy Dupree...how 'bout this?

You up for a race? My son Derek has a 94 ford f150, stock motor, almost 200k miles on it, weighs in at 4700 lbs (about 2500 lbs heavier than you) That might take it to your ass head up for an order of fries...what cha think?...........oh wait....GG

slow94 01-20-2010 06:59 PM

not quite 200k... only 180k :poke:

LXtasy 01-20-2010 06:59 PM

No way that truck weights 2200 lbs. Not even close with stock frame, steel panels and interior truck. I bet it weighs around 2900 lbs without big daddy in it and no gas.

And doesn't that "f150" have a blower on it?

Thats not a blower its a vacuum pump. :hysterical::cheers

slow04 01-20-2010 07:38 PM

Doesn't matter if it has two blowers...truck runs mid 8.xx in the 1/8...plenty of people will verify this...just curious if tyler wants to see how his truck stacks up...not a grudge race and an order of fries isn't enough to sandbag for..

bwelch 01-20-2010 07:41 PM

should be a good race. I think bupree should be mid to low 8's on motor.

exactly what I am thinking. Truthfully though a stock ls1 motor puts out what 350 hp right. mine put out 240 stock so plus 10lbs of boost and we should be pretty equal?

BigdaddyDupree 01-20-2010 08:31 PM

i dont have an LS1 I have a 5.3. but im down 30 on? Dont forget i dont like onions on my fries.

chrisheltra 01-20-2010 08:33 PM

Im excited to see what Tyler runs. New build, New times.

91notch 01-20-2010 08:43 PM

hmmm interesting. Should be fun to watch.

BigdaddyDupree 01-20-2010 08:46 PM

Chillerman 01-20-2010 10:39 PM

soccerspike15 01-21-2010 12:14 AM

You got me on weight and traction for sure. I only have real street tires to run on seeing as my M/T's are toast. Should match up well if your truck runs in the 8's.

BigdaddyDupree 01-21-2010 12:21 AM

yeah the only person i have ran us your dad. and i cried the whole next week lol. but even though mine is on drag radials it spins real bad. we will see. and idk if it runs in the 8's or not we havent made a pass

Illusions 01-21-2010 07:27 AM

They should name this race "No Traction Action" neither vehicle can hook.

I say we will be picking up 10 bolt parts just past the 60 foot mark if he does hook.. :(

LOL just cut the pedal assembly out of the way and clamp a pair of vise grip to the end of the line. Problem solved. That way even someone paralyzed from the waist down could drive it.

BigdaddyDupree 03-01-2010 08:09 AM

haha i got a gas pedal that i think will work now i need a throttle bracket to mount my carb and im goin again

fink406 03-01-2010 08:54 AM

that gas pedal shit sucks. about ten years ago i have an old primer nova. same thing could not figure out why it would run great, but no acceleration. finally the pedal broke so i took it to work and we trimmed a little and welded it back up good as gold.

BAD BOB 03-01-2010 09:29 AM

GET in where you FIT in!

tyler.... you got a ls1 auto drag radials and black paint and so do i, we should be a good race!

BigdaddyDupree 03-01-2010 10:13 AM

Richard Head 03-01-2010 05:58 PM
