**Darlington track rental news**
I heard back from Dalrington and its actually more reasonable than I thought It would be. Here is the reply I got.
"Sunday would be your cheapest weekend day. As I stated in the last email, rentals are for testing only. To do what you are asking on a Sunday, from noon until 6 pm (6 hrs), we could do $50 car and driver and $10 spectators. I would need a guarantee of at least 50 cars to make it happen. I can have the gate open at 11 am and you can be racing at noon. Does that sound fair?" So if we can get enough interest going Ill set something up for a date that the majority of us can agree on, but if not Ill just drop the whole idea. Start a list of whos interested. Copy & paste and add your name. Dont add your name if you are a "maybe" or arent sure you will make it. 1. Chrisheltra |
That's really not all that bad. Don't add my name (yet), but I may actually be interested in this.

I definitely want to do this, but if the date is after May I won't be here.

50 a car with minimum of 50 cars. They don't do that well on scheduled T&T.

$50 per car, $10 per spectator, and have to have atleast 50 cars?:roll: Yall should have all gotten together and gone to a saturday Test and Tune before the bracket series started back up. Woulda been half the price ($25 car and driver) and no waiting in the lanes.

As stated a year ago ( If you know what you are doing I don't care how fast you are) I went for the GTO rental There were car's running in the 8's with no cage These people are great to work with, Mitch( When Mike and I went they stated OH that's a Lightning Do you have a drive shaft loop Answer YES OK go and run LOL)

I haven't heard anything back from them reguarding dates available and I really don't have the time nor desire to corrdinate an event like this. I got the ball rolling and if anybody with more time and patience than me would like to take over from here by all means please do.

of course 11 sec doesnt do it for me he isnt very in consistant ive never seen him grudge race anyone you ?.... thought u read other post ? when i get my car back we are running for 1k or better
he has a stoker now im stock cubic inches but i dont care ... i think he has wider tires also doesnt matter he wouldnt race me when i was stock long block an he had a bigger turbo an aluminum heads lol |
