Calling out "any" TBSS or SRT 10
 

If you can drive those turds here I guarantee there is a Local Lightning that will piss all over it and there's a few to choose from. One of us will do it I can promise you that. So bring your biggest shot, your biggest turbo or hell strap a jet engine to it we don't care.

If you can drive it to the spot it will get slap run over.

I'll be home on leave in mid October and would like to get a few friendly races in against some Lightnings.

I emphasize friendly because I don't have time to waste with people's attitudes and egos.

I have never had a problem with you Randy and I know this call out came from the other thread about the race with Shawn's TBSS, but if it is going to be that serious then i'll pass.

This whole thread is meant for bwelch, its simply stating that there is no TBSS or SRT10 around that will come sit like us at his "5k" weight daily driveable on more HP in gas than the motor makes line it up and runover the local lightnings.

That spot belongs to us and I challenge anyone to get some.

Why hasn't anyone built a fast SRT-10 yet? Are they just too damn heavy?

The SRT10 guys brag that their trucks are uber epic rare and then in the same breath complain that performance parts are over priced. LMAO

The fastest SRT10 anyone knows of runs 10. 9's in the 1/4 and thats with a th400 built motor a huge turbo and tubbed like a pro-mod.

The fastest lightning run's 6.7 at 201 mph in the 1/4 and thats on a 281 Cu in mod motor.

Find me a video of a stock block street driven lightning that goes faster than 9.03@151 on drag radials and stock suspension. Dont post a video of a f'n pro mod!

Rob (foose 04) should get into this one. He might not beat all of the lightnings, but he could probably make a bent in a few of them. His truck moves on pretty sporty, espicially from a roll. But not sure if he would meet the weight requirements.:bigthumb:

Robs shit is badass no doubt. But his truck is a freak in the world of C/K LS powered trucks. He's the exception not the rule. The local trucks that Randy is talking about are representative of a bunch of fast lightnings that are out running around everyday. Any way it would be a good race. I believe he may have already run atleast one of the lightning guys.

Hell Hals truck is probably the closest thing to a TBSS, and eventhough I am partial to Ford's, give him his due, he is pretty quick as well. But I really cant think of any others..:bigthumb:

Maybe I misinterpreted the tone of the original post, but I wasn't intending to be a dick with my original statement. I only have 2 weeks back in the States & I already know I won't have time to go to the track. I'd like to get a few runs in though without a bunch of drama.

Shawn sold it to a guy named shorty and last I heard paul price was interested in buying it from him. The kit is no longer on it though.

93 Octane vs 93 octane I will be good. Unless you want to wait until nice cooler weather when we finish up somethings and than I will give any lightning on this board the back tire for life. Friendly race of course. 1/4 or 1/8 at the track of course
