Jew translation is "I have the money, I just don't want to pay full price for something".

Jimmyz18 10-30-2011 06:54 PM

what size is it, 18ft? spare tire included?

Thanks
Jim

yota 10-30-2011 07:07 PM

its super nice... should fit just about anything... i know my tahoe fit on it with plenty of room to spare all around... glws shawn

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 07:14 PM

Yes to all of the above. I'll let whoever buys it have all the straps too. These arent your 50ft yellow cargo straps either. They are actual car tie down straps 4 total with 4 axle straps as well. I dont roll no junk yo. Yall no dis.

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 07:19 PM

This is the basic trailer. Mine was upgraded with diamond plate ramps (no bump bump bump up the ramps) two spare tire carriers, 2 5/16 ball, and a winch pocket (no winch) It is a Kaufman and it DOES have a title.

Vette would have no problems off and on this trailer. Wide enough to fit a Blazer on one tons.. Not sure on the age of the tires they are in good shape tho. Matching spare and real deal straps. Custom headache rack by SMMS. Trailer brakes on BOTH axles. 6 lug FTW.

Carlrx7 10-30-2011 10:40 PM

i'd like to check it out tomorrow, the vette is only 73" wide, if i can get up on it, we can make a deal...

-Carl

Alright alright. SMMS direct line 870-0408.

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 10:49 PM

I doubt yours is lower than Zacs junk and we were able to get his on it. Of course he backed his big truck onto some plastic ramps to get it done lol.

Matts94Z28 10-30-2011 10:59 PM

I got my low car on there just fine!

bwelch 10-30-2011 11:04 PM

Make sure you can clear the fenders on the trailer because the bottom of the doors on a vette are really low.

Ooooooh yeah. THAT might be a problem. Might have to Duke boy it lol.

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 11:10 PM

Matt it cleared the Camaro doors fine right? I ask cause yours is damn low.

Matts94Z28 10-30-2011 11:13 PM

Nope, had to duke it. However, they opened without me in it. It was close.

Carlrx7 10-30-2011 11:17 PM

my doors are a little less than 9" from the ground..

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 11:18 PM

Dang. Carl ain't gonna be about Duke boy status.

Ninja edit: Im gonna go put a tape on it real quick.

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 11:23 PM

Ugh. Fenders are 9 1/2 inches above the deck.

Carlrx7 10-30-2011 11:23 PM

leave the windows down? what if it rains? climb out the hatch? lol

why? Because racecar.

bwelch 10-30-2011 11:33 PM

You could just screw a 2x6 down where your tires are when its loaded on the trailer

ShawnBoyMoody 10-30-2011 11:40 PM

Another option would be to plasma off the drivers side fender and make it removable. I've seen this done many times.

Carlrx7 10-30-2011 11:44 PM

tilt!!!, saw that on a trailer on ebay. :poke:

bwelch 10-30-2011 11:51 PM

Hell yes.

Darryl Buckner 10-31-2011 09:35 AM

Carl, just pick up Shawnboy's trailer and i'll trade you my hydrolic trailer for the one you get from him. Not worried about width on mine cause Lightning trucks fit fine between the fenders, and my fenders are removable. I need a trailer that is higher off the ground to get past the dip infront of my shop, so I can back the trailer inside. Pep Boys just put 4 new tires on mine less than 6 months ago, and I have the spare as well. Just a thought..:bigthumb:

Carlrx7 10-31-2011 10:15 AM

pics?

Chillerman 10-31-2011 12:50 PM

You can't go wrong buying his trailer even if the fender is too tall. Easy mod to make it removeable. If you trade with Darryl, his trailer is nice!

What drop does the hitch receiver need to be to tow this bad boy level?

Depends on your ride height...
