Barry Wright Benefit Event
 

As a result of the loss of our dear friend Barry Wright, Dorchester Dragway will have a benefit race this Sunday. A portion of the proceeds from the gate admission will be donated to the family of Mr. Wright. We will also be collecting additional donations from anyone that wish to donate. You can make additional donations by going to the gate or coming to the tower. We will observe a moment of silence @ 10pm, at 9:45 the track will close and will remain closed for the rest of the night in rememberance of Barry. We will resume normal operating hours next weekend. Thank you sincerely in advance for your donations and please continue to keep the familys in your prayers.

Good idea. Nice sentiment closing the track and having a moment of silence. Post up the opening times. I'm going to try to come as a spectator.

i know every little bit helps but why not donate 100% of the addmission to his family?

Gates will open @ 3 tomorrow. 100% of the gate money (after some minor necessary expenses) will be presented to some members of his family that are coming out to track tomorrow.
