I have two pairs JL Audio 6.5" xr series with crossovers that are new in the box. They are two years old but have been stored in my closet so they are in good shape.

they have a dash stereo for $29 that takes zip drives. anyone ever mess with putting music on a zip drive? |
i used a thumb drive for my pioneer media deck for a while until i got my ipod. i wouldnt go above 4gb each for the thumb drives due to load times but it works very well. depending on the navigation style the receiver uses, it's not a pain at all to find what you want- or just set it on random and let it play. a little bit of time organizing your music into folders will help thumb drive navigation a lot on the small screen. i keep my 16gb thumb drive handy, as well as a loaded 2gb SD card, for times when i forget to bring my ipod
