Some things youd like to see on the next gen Xbox
 
So I was on the shitter earlier and got to thinking about this subject. Give me your input/wishlist too.

Fully integrated pc (IE, firefox, chrome) based web browser
Blueray with ability to utilize disk size and transfer speed for game content
Hardware thats up to par with present pc's
True 1080p resolution

i lol'd again to think that MICROSOFT would put a SONY BLU-ray player in there console.

Why not it currently has a DVD drive.

well, one thing is sony ownes the blu-ray trademark, which would mean, that every xbox sold would be a profit for sony

Im aware of that. Someone owns the rights to everything thats made and purchased. If everyone followed your train of thought no one would buy anything.

Im not saying its going to happen its just on my wishlist.

I'm pretty sure:

Sony gets the money when BR discs (software) are sold. Panasonic gets the money when the players (hardware) are sold.

The "Blu-ray Disc founder group" was started on May 20, 2002 by MIT and nine leading electronic companies: Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Thomson, LG (Lucky GoldStar) Electronics, Hitachi, Sharp, and Samsung.[2] In order to enable more companies to participate, it announced in May 2004 that it would form the Blu-ray Disc Association, which was inaugurated on October 4, 2004.

id have to say.

blue ray player.... as a consumer idc if its by sony...
built in wifi/wirelss.... with ability to backfeed(windows media player)
1tb built in hard drive.(music,movies,game content)
cable in (act as your cable box/dvr)
2 audio outputs(1tv/1surroundsound) yes i know you can out the tv but seems laggy...

live:
seasonpass's (football,hocky,nba ect ect) since they are going to be offering cable tv thru live/
