e85 gas stations

Do y'all have any around that have it available? All the places around here are out and don't know when they are getting it. I want to get a 55 gallon drum of it and be done for a bit.

Yes a couple stations, bring a drum.

id test a gallon or two before I bought 55 gallons of it at once. From my understanding, E85 from the pumps can be way off on the number, so it would suck to get 55 gallons of a bad "batch"

BigdaddyDupree 08-15-2012 02:31 PM

the sphinx in moncks corner has it.

Good advice.

sounds good. I have a tester I'll bring.

Now where can I find a drum to put it in? I searched around here and couldn't find any around here. The only thing I could find was places selling pre filled drums of oil.

Once the weather starts cooling off its not wise to purchase the pump E85. The winter blends could be 51% ethanol not the previous 70-83% Testers are always recommended.

With as many totally roached corn crops I saw driving through the good old U S of A I wouldn't be surprised if e85 prices started to climb, a lot.

LXtasy 08-15-2012 06:18 PM

still cheaper than $10 a gallon race fuel

BAD BOB 08-15-2012 07:30 PM

Never test mine no matter what time of the year and never have fuel issues

Summerville propane sell it by 55 gal drum. It comes in sealed drum. They have other race fuel too. They off 17a down from the high school.

thanks, I'll give them a call.

I'm having trouble locating a drum that hasn't had weird shit in them.

Junior linton sells it by the drum and other race fuels as well. Off hwy52 just need to let him know in advance what your needs are

bunch of pussies!! Fine with me, shit pumps slow as fuck as it is.. i've never had to mess with my tune, if they do switch it to e70 (winter blend) the car just runs slightly richer and compesates for the tenth of a point of octane reducution.. There is very little difference in octane from e50 and up.

OK! I will say at the one by show zone the pump to the right is slow but the one to the left is faster

I drove through Illinois last weekend and was amazed how bad the corn crop was. Those guys are in a hell of a drought.

That is still silly imo. Especially considering the price at the pump
