First run in the Trans Am
 

Went to Dorchester tonight (10-28-2012) expecting 8.3 out of the trans am and did better then expected. I ran a best of a 8.19 @86 with a 1.7 60ft. I know i have a high 8.0 in it, i didn't do anything to the car except tire pressure so doing a couple little things to it next time should hel[ the E/T out some My only mods are intake/exhaust, PCM tune and stall converter.

thanks! I wanted to get a base line before my heads and cam go in. I may take it out one more time and see if i can get the 8.0 im looking for. I saw a few really clean cars/trucks out there!

I think I saw ya. I was in the yellow C5Z.

Based on your times and my wheel hop I think we could have had some good runs between us lol.

It was teal and had chrome weld RTS wheels.

Well I definately missed it then. I would have remembered seeing a nice sounding ride like that.

Thanks guys! I thought id be lucky with 8.3's with my 3.23 gear and 28" tall mickeys. The intake is stock, TB as well, i do have the WS6 Ram Air set up. My current intake is being ported by Advanced Induction tho.
