Roadcone and I went last year. Had a good time, I plan on going friday again.

Do they limit your speed?

I've read that the pace car does about 100. Can't see them turning you loose to go balls out.

They have pace cars in front and behind the pack. A few years ago before they started putting the pace cars at the back we would slow down until the front pace car is right behind us. Then haul ass for about 2 laps.

Damn, why did I have to swap to a day shift for friday.

they just say dont pass the pace vehicle.. they ran 75-80... we got a 135-140mph blast off down the back straight and rolled into turn 3 at 115-120ish IIRC... its pretty normal to hold over 100 thru the whole time. there was a dodge truck on the speed limiter the whole time when we went lol

I have done it 3 different times with NMRA. They made us run our 30 miles in truestreet in there instead of the open road.

We had to do the same thing at Bristol 2 years in a row, thats like racing in a cereal bowl..

single file do not pass...

i'm pretty sure i passed about 15 cars in one lap lol. Russ said they saw me take off down the back straight and by the time they came out of 4 they saw me in turn 1 haha
