It's not Merkur expensive, but it's up there.

Tinted? Hell no...I don't want some cop rightfully shooting me in the face for possibly having a gunmen hiding in my backseat. I'm all about Cop safety.

If you can find me JRZs, Motons or Penskes for Ohlins DFV prices, let me know and I'll return these as soon as I get them! :bigthumb:

Meh..I've been away so long that I'm sure SM is much faster now. Especially being SCR, which is the largest, most competitive region in the south east.

I'm mainly going back to coilovers because I'll be hitting the 'Ring this Spring/Summer. The BCs I had were great as "spring holders" with adjustable ride-height, but lack of high-speed damping almost caused me to swap-ends on a bumpy stretch of the autobahn one night. Went back to the stock Bilsteins/springs, but I just can't stand the body roll..can't do it. You guys that have driven on higher spring-rates and then tried to go back to stock know what I'm talking about...it's like a withdrawal from some drug.

How it looks:

How it drives:
Nothing crazy. You definitely feel the road better (bumps and all) but when bracing myself for the routine bumps that I run over daily, it was more plush. It's softer/firmer for the big stuff but it doesn't do anything to block-out any of the minor crap (the opposite of the bilsteins). Is it livable? Yep.
It's still too early to give any feedback on the handling aspect.

Nice picture kiley Sean. Glad the car is not rusted apart. Did you have it coated when you got there.

Nah...but I should have coated it myself, at least. Certain areas are rusting due to the salt, but I can't really do shit about it over here. Dealing with the rust I've picked up will be a top priority when I get back.

Bingo. Sad thing is, they don't sell it in Germany (on or off base..it's a US market thing), so I had to get it shipped from the states. Still cheaper than getting oil over here.
