anyone ever bypassed column lock on a vette?
 

mine just broke while at walmart...cant move steering wheel at all...looks like a common issue with c5s...figured i would have more time before my luck kicked it...

I bought one from when I had my c5z.

sure enough after i order parts...i find a thread where a guy luckily rocked his steering wheel and turned it to the right while slowly turning the key...and then clunk..the lock releases...so i try it and it works...
