Southern Street and Clutch Car Challenge!
 

Napalm promotions and Union county Dragway presents: The Southern Street and Clutch Car Challenge. October 26th 2013. The classes are as follows. Street King $2000 to win, Stick and Slick $1000 to win, Pure Street Radial $1000 to win. There will also be a $2000 to win Gear Jammer race and a bracket race with $1000 to win in both classes. Besides the weather not cooperating it went well. I know there were several fast cars there from this site. We hope to see all of you guys as well as a lot of new faces this year.

In heads up drag racing there is always a faster car, however the fastest car doesn't always win! In an effort to cater to our racers and to make things more interesting we are going to have a "2nd chance" race in two of our three heads up categories. The first round losers will go into a separate bracket. 2nd chance Street King will run for $500 and 2nd chance stick and slick will run for $250.

If I can get my car sorted out by then, I'd like to make it up there for this race. Just takes time and money...don't have much of either right now.

We understand where you're coming from. We were trying to have the race in the spring and just couldn't find the time or money to do it. We are hoping to do it at least once a year. Really just want to have an event in South Carolina that we can call our own. Look forward to seeing you guys.

Alright guys. We have two company's that are doing some contingencies. Shrader performance is going to give $100 to any winner or runner up in all three heads up classes who either have one of there engines or a rear seat delete kit on board. This goes for the second chance race also. Carolina driveline is giving $100 to the best finisher in all classes including the bracket cars with one of there drive shafts and a decal on board. They will be there giving out the decals.

SRT transmissions is also doing a contingency! Any winner of the 3 heads up classes with a SRT trans on board will receive $100 from SRT!!!!

As long as we have at least a 16 car field in Pure Street Radial we will pay back 4 spots. That's $1,000 to win, $250 to runner up and $100 to 3rd and 4th. Don't forget about the $1,500 to win Stick and Slick with a $250 2nd chance race and the $2,000 to win Street King with $500 2nd chance race!
