Not sure how much you want to spend but marchant in summerville has complete 5.3 longblocks for $600.

Any idea if theres any sort of guarantee on whether they run or not? Or do you have any clue on the mileage they have? Was thinking of picking up a spare for my truck.

Give them a call I don't want to give out any incorrect info on a business. I've used them without a problem. They will sell complete engine/trans/harness aswell for a good price if someone is doing a swap.
