stk 317, ported 317, stk l92
so I did some tests tonight with interesting results. not sure how these numbers compare to other benches but its what I got
stock 317 3.95 bore 1. 68, 2. 142 3. 196 4. 228 5. 236 6. 240 stock 317 4.20 bore .1 79 2. 154 3. 209 4. 247 5. 257 6. 260 ported 317 for boost, swirl hump next to guide left in on a 3.95 bore 1. 74 .2 153 3. 209 4. 249 5. 278 6. 295 on 4.20 bore 1. 74 2. 153 3. 210 4. 250 5. 278 6. 278 stock l92?(5364) on 3.95 bore 1. 75 2. 148 3. 204 4. 247 5. 274 6. 287 stock l92 on 4.20 bore 1. 83 2. 157 3. 221 4. 272 5. 311 6. 330 I have 2 sets of heads I just recently ported, 241s and 317s and noticed both sets didn't pick up flow over .500 and realized I had them on my 4.20 bore. I have read that a bore larger than the chamber can cause turbulence but never noticed it before till I made the mistake the other day |
What did the 241's flow?
