Tonights project: Refinish Savage Mark II
So a while back my little brother gave me a Savage Mark II .22LR that was painted in a cheap rattle can job. I thought it looked terrible but hey, couldn't beat the price.
So It started like this (well stock and everything was camo but I forgot to take a picture of it like that) Here's what the scope looked like. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ps1zejuz5f.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...psguc7oxhm.jpg Took it all apart, removed the old paint, stripped the barrel (not satisfied with how it turned out so I may work on it some more) http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...psajdk3bzf.jpg And here's the final product unless I decide to work on the barrel some more. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...psapa7okll.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...psryyvem21.jpg |
Here's my project for the day although I don't think it's going to turn out well it was still a learning experience.
