Looking for a 31 spline 8.8 posi and a 3:55 or so gear. Lemme know what ya got

I have a 31 Spline limited slip Explorer carrier.

Tyler I can call Mike DeLee I was just talking to him about one he has. 31 spline 8.8 with spool, but I am not sure about the gear. Just let me know..:bigthumb:

03-04 Cobra is indepentent rear end.

That doesnt matter in this case. the carrier inside it is the same as a stick axle 8.8. you can use the 3.55 from the 03-04 cobra as well.

He could also buy the clutch kit, install it in the Explorer carrier and have a Cobra spec diff for under 150.00.

Keep in mind when we rebuilt the independent 8.8 trac loc in Jeff's Cobra, the Cobra carrier has either 1 or 2 extra clutches and steels then a regular 8.8 trac loc does.

Right. Ford Racing sells an upgrade kit for them that has everything.

Americanmuscle has that rebuild kit for $80
