NOS on my car

If i put a 250 shot on my car will it hurt the power steering pump? thanks for the help.

clubracergt1 01-14-2009 03:07 PM

say again??? you cannot be serious.

jay_99z 01-14-2009 03:13 PM

Depends on the car. I believe the early Fox bodies had an issue with that.

WTFWSAT 01-14-2009 03:14 PM

I dont know anything about nitrous but....powersteering pump?
Are you concerned about maybe spinning it too quick ?

Chris

Mike 01-14-2009 03:30 PM

It's possible. I lost my P.S. pump with nitrous. My 4th time spraying a piece of my rod went right through the pump......and I was only using 175. With 250 you might take out your AC compressor also.

:joke:

BAD BOB 01-14-2009 03:30 PM

well its a stock motor so i didnt know if it would work.

Bradleyrj 01-14-2009 04:27 PM

Stock motor.. with a 250 shot is asking to tear up a bunch more shit than the power steering pump. Stick to a 150 MAX if it is a wet kit with a custom N20 tune.

clubracergt1 01-14-2009 05:20 PM

Nice one, Mike

Can I put you in line with all the other BS call outs??? But ill do that. To your fully built 306, on a bigger shot than mine, with a gear out of a rockwell, and an auto. But hell, you'll be having to catch up after someone taps on your window telling you the lights came down.

BAD BOB 01-14-2009 10:49 PM

Ha good one:bigthumb: But i realize your motor stock prolly makes more power than my dinosour motor will but ill still take pleasure in dragging you down the track!! And i aint one of those bs people!! Ill back up what i say. Oh thanks for the Kmember it fits good on my car!!!!

We'll see. Hell, I dont race according to everyone on here. Maybe you could teach me how to do a burnout, stage, launch, all that good stuff. Actually, I dont even know how to get to the track so thatd be helpful also,

BAD BOB 01-15-2009 12:58 PM
