1 wire alternator.

Anyone running a 1 wire alt? I know its not the typical 3g setup but I need to re-arrange some things for the turbo pipes and a one wire would help eliminate the plug on my stock alt being so close to the pipe as it is now (almost touching)

Can I run a 1 wire on an EFI car? I have a friend with one on his carbed car and it works great..

if the alt charges correctly with one wire, then I dont see a problem

easy job. Ma and Harry just got done doing both cars. You will need and alt from a 94 5.0 stang or so, and I have the instruction sheet...:bigthumb:

I assume the alt will fit my stock bracket?? or will I need another bracket as well?

It will fit, but it is shown on my instructions where you will have to take a burr wheel and grind out just a little of the aluminum bracket to make it fit, nothing major though.
