Big news!!!!

Okay guys this has been in the works for a few months now, but I am finally ready to let the cat out of the bag. I have put together a new cruise night. This is open to all makes and models even bikes, tuners, and 4x4s and is not a "car show." There are no trophies, there is no club affiliation, no annoying oldies blaring from every angle, no time requirements, show up whenever leave whenever, just come up and hang out and have fun. This is going to take place in the Best Buy (my employer, who has been extremely accommodating for this whole idea) parking lot at Azalea Square in Summerville. (right off I-26, exit 199.) I plan on doing this every Saturday night from around 6:30 or so until whenever it breaks up. I will be cross posting this on various other websites. So help me get the word out! This Saturday I am doing a trial run before the "official" first one, which should be in a couple of weeks. The parking lot is large, well lit and safe. There are lots of stores in the plaza (Dick's, Best Buy, Target, Kohl's, etc.) for wives and girlfriends, there is also the movie theater next door, and a handful of restaurants within walking distance! Any feedback is welcome!

Thanks!

I dont think ill be here, but just out of curiosity, is anyone gonna play "officer" and keep the idiots from doing burnouts and stupid shit? If not, I can promise you that Summerville PD will be there to give everyone tickets. They dont play.

Illusions 08-13-2009 10:49 AM

I pretty sure that Summerville City will have control of that area even though it is in Berkeley Co..

I don't think it would be such a bad thing for the cops to be there, anyway. It will at least keep the dumbasses from racing in the parking lot, endangering everyone's lives and cars. I'll probably cruise by.

I forgot to mention this in the original post, but burnouts, parking lot racing, and all other forms of immature stupidity and or retardedness will not be tolerated. It is my hope that we can ALL play officer so that no one has to call any real officers. My management has been extremely supportive of my plan of having a local cruise night and I have assured them that stupid shit will not be tolerated. We have the opportunity to have a nice location for all of us to get together. As long as we are respectful of this, we will have no problems.

Diddn't know that.. I stand corrected.

the "burnouts, parking lot racing, and all other forms of immature stupidity and or retardedness" is one reason I haven't gone to SSS in many years. it was the same thing down ashley phosphate and dorchester rd at that hang out.

If I'm their and a dumbass pulls stupid shit I will say something too.

I see the "j/k" part of it, but then the "just could not resist"...so that leaves me to ask, what does burnouts and donuts and acting stupid have to do with me?
