Jim III from JDM

Jim (Jr) ran his 05', naturally aspirated Mustang at FFW in Houston. The class was a heads up 12.50 class. This car has been 11's before. Cool to see him run this car and do well. Make sure and switch to Windows Media Player if the sound doesn't work.

I call my Lightning a F-150 all the time. That's what it is. A few times all I said was F-150. :D

For example here is an introduction thread I posted over a year ago.

http://southeastmusclecars.com/New-G...SC-t-1021.html

Nowhere did I say Lightning, and only 1 person brought it up.

BTW... Nice video. Thats a sweet Mustang

I rather sure it's a GT, with Saleen trim. I saw pictures of the car beforehand. As i mentioned before, JDM has a very close relationship with Saleen. They also own a Saleen Mustang and truck. I will try to find an old picture.

Larry said the car was running on a 12.5 index and has ran in the 11's

Ka-Chow 05-18-2007 08:25 PM

well for a jdm car it seems slow.

08 Racecraft 05-18-2007 08:31 PM

car was said to be naturally aspirated .from jdm?

Whaler 05-19-2007 07:07 AM

The car is an 05" GT, automatic car. It has a 300 cu inch engine with no power adder. It has the stock cams in it as well. He put a Saleen front and rear facia on it so the could promote Saleen, as they have a close relationship with them and have partnered up for the Fun Ford Events. He puts weight in the car and tunes it to run right at 12.50 for the class. The car has gone 11.9? as a best pass.

I'm not sure who shot the video, as I picked it up off of Streetfire. I just thought it was a neat car and is very competitive in it's class. I would kill for a pass in the "11's". JDM has another real Saleen car (automatic) that has been 10.2's or maybe quicker by now and another one they are shooting for something faster with.

Thank you looked like Saleen to me and as I said you know more about the car then me :yourock:
