Hello,
I have the motor completely apart and I have a lot of Questions. I'm going to see if Mike will take me some more pictures with everything apart and post it on nloc. Any possible theoryÔÇÖs besides I blew it up, (HA! HA!) are welcome. Anyone can call me and are welcome to look it over. Once the pictures are posted you will see the rods are still all hooked to the crank and they look like they came loose about a 1/2 inch of each other. Also when I removed the Timing cover there was a freeze plug lying in a little space inside the cover, no dents or scratches. One other strange item the motor is missing a follower or rocker off the intake side.
It showed no code's until we would crack the throttle at idle then it would show a rich mixture on the side missing the rocker which would make since because the exhaust valve would still open and let the fuel go into the exhaust, I know a o2 reads air. Thanks in advance for the help. Sorry I missed the meeting I was motoring. Mory Congratulations on the Lightning can't wait till see it. Mike I will lay all of this stuff out in nice order and get with you I want to post this on nloc and start reading some responses. Thanks to all have a great day and Good night.

I've actually heard of the rockers falling off on the 03-04 Cobra's . It wasn't a common problem but several people had it happen to them and never knew it until the valve cover was pulled . It seems some were just not right from the factory and some were . I honestly wouldn't worry about it .

And looks to me like a a little rod stretch action .
