Thinking of bringing it out, before you sell it... Love to see the car run, before it is gone!

Didn't say I was GOING to sell it, said I had a VERY GOOD offer from someone and I was thinking about it.
Leaning towards not selling right now, it's close to race season.

Wes. If you look @ google earth and use their ruler tool. You can measure track lengths.

Midway is ~ 2300'
Dorchester is ~2100'
Bowman is close to 2800' (Google's image of Bowman is before it was paved, so it's hard to say how accurate that is)

I am not claiming these to be accurate, but it could give you a rough estimate.
---- I thought for sure midway was a bit longer, and that Bowman would of been shorter than Dorchester.

chrisheltra 01-22-2010 08:59 PM

Bowman is now where close to 2800' unless your measuring overall length including both lanes

I HIGHLY doubt Bowman is longer than Midway

Wes, id say that bowman is about the same as dorchester...just make sure youre on the brakes when you go through the traps

You writing a book about it?

Because that is what the offer was for (as if it's any of your business). I was seeing if it was a dollar amount I could get again if i turned it down right now.

Thanks for asking.

Chillerman 01-22-2010 09:31 PM

We're thinking of heading up to Bowman if I'm off work early enough tomorrow.

I would want to know that I could still stop if the chute didn't come out.

Sorry you were the one talking shit about not wanting to sell it and someone offered you a large amount for it? You ran the ad!

I have no idea what the hell you just said, but please explain to me how I can "talk shit about not wanting to sell it".

Wes. You were the one on several threads saying someone offered you a large settlement. You had the car forsale.....If you didn't want to sell it. You would not have ran a forsale ad! Sorry.
PS. Not writing a book....Just facts.
I wish I had the money right now.....I would love to buy your car.
