BAD BOB 03-14-2010 08:55 PM

for a basic nothing really special i think a maf is prolly the easiest

minytrker 03-15-2010 03:36 PM

MAF is easiest, but I prefere SD. I run all my stuff in SD except my G8, I run in MAF only but its a E38 so thats a dissfernt story. I ran my Z06 SD, my camaro, truck and every other crs of mine.
It really depends on the mods and what your trying to do on which would be better. There are tons of myths about SD all over the internet.

I don't care either way, from a tuning standpoint. SD is definately easier to "package" in an engine compartment. With some of the new aftermarket sensors and GMs use of the "card" style MAF, they don't create the airflow restrictions they once did.
