Drag Radials

Would you buy MT ET Drag radials that have been garaged for 5 years, with 20+psi, and on the side? They only have 6 passes on them and he wants $100. They are mounted on a set of rims that I will need to get remounted.

No, probably have cracks on the sidewalls from age.

look at them and see how soft bit they will prolly be pretty hard

I wouldn't buy them either

That is what my thinking was. I didnt really want to go the cheap route on tires. Hate to have a blowout running down the track or else where.

don't waste your cash

old tires get HARD and slick.

tires have aromatics that evaporate,

as the tires turn on the car, they flex and the oils come out to the sidewalls.

that's why, as they sit, they dry & crack, because the oils are not being flexed out.

that's why you need to drive your boat/rv/trailers every once a while.

they are....trash...
