There are some nice cars at my local Ford dealership

I was at my local Ford dealership getting the cruise control recall performed and they have some nice cars on display there. I had seen them on their website and was sure to bring my camera so I could get some pics. I got to sit in them and to tell you the truth, I wasn't that impressed. I'll take my Lightning over any of them any day. Enjoy...

What were they asking for the GT's and the Cobra GT 500's over the sticker price? I am sure they were not selling them for sticker price. Nice pic's.

The GT's didn't have stickers on them and the GT-500's were something like $59K. I can't remember exactly.

Jeff, I've got a customer with the old school paint scheme on his GT, including the "Gulf" logos. He road races it every once in a while. He also has an old school version of the GT40 that matches it, with a radical motor as well.

I know the guy that you are talking about, Larry. He brings it in to Jones every now and then. Last time it was in, we added a trans cooler to it 'cuz he races. He also drives it on the street-A LOT. Hell, he left it at the dealership for a few hours a couple of months ago. Not for work-said he had a show to go to; and needed a safe place to park the car for a little while. Damn nice to see somebody driving the car instead of letting it just be a garage trophy.

Still surprised to see a dealer that still has some new-after all, they haven't built the GT for over a year now (I think).
