There is alway's Midway on Friday's.

I would imagine historicaly very few people show up on Fri nights and it not worth there time nor money to open the track.

That sucks.

Someone said they might be changing it to Sat. night But I did Not get the Facts I'll try and call this week. How is Midway Morey? Mitch

You faster lightning guys will get the boot at midway for no roll bar . Anything quicker than a 7.49 and you will be told you can't run anymore because of not having the proper safety equipment .

I called Mike at Dorchester today, and he confirmed no more Fridays. He said they couldn't afford to open the track just for Lightnings :lol:

They will only be running on Sundays until after the bracket finals in Jackson. He said after that there is a possibility of someone setting up a grudge night other than Sunday. The details were kind of fuzzy, but I'll talk to him next time I'm there to get more details.

I might ask if we could set some sort of track rental up in the near future. Maybe if we could get enough people at 50+ dollars a pop to spend the better part of a Saturday there, or in the a.m. on a Sunday. Would you guys be interested in that?

maybe on a sat. i have to get my brothers car back together and i work on sundays. we both like the track a lot better than savannah river.
