How strict is Carolina and Darlington about running sub 11.49 without a cage?
 

Just like the title says will they give me the boot after my first pass?

I don't think they start saying anything until low 10's

and depends on what night. thursday i think you wouldnt have a problem at all. they dont say much then

I ran a 10.59 and they did not say a thing on Wednesday night.

At Darlington that is.

I ran 10.90 with no cage. They usually dont care unless you are racing someone. You also get bonus points for driving. :)

Darlington / rockingham / fayetville dont care on test N tune

I went to Carolina last year on a Thursday and there was no tech inspection.

Been 10.70's-11.0's all day long at carolina and never had them say anything

This was a long time ago, but I was running bottom 11ns without a cage and they told me if i dipped into the 10ns I would have to have a cage. By the end of the night they told me I would have to have a cage if I came back. This was on a thursday night. Also I have been 9ns with just a 6pnt and they didnt say a word to me. The 11ns were 11.10ns 11.0hs.

you got to have ac / cruise / tilt wheel an elcectric windows to run 10's with no cage lol I was in my grandma's buick so they knew it wasnt fast

You will have to take your chances. The first time I ran 11.30's when the 302 was still in the car, I got the boot for no 5 point seat belt harness in the car. I had a cage but only the stock seat belt and was told to park it. This was on a test/tune Sunday in January of 2010.

did you trailer it?

Pretty sure I pulled off a 150mph pass there and they never said anything about safety gear.
