300 degree virtual shooting range at Gander Mountain!
 

Too bad the closest one to us is just north of Orlando. The 300 degree virtual shooting range surrounds you with 8' x 10' screens that a scenario plays out on. Your "gun" accurately simulates 9mm recoil with CO2 and puts virtual shots on target right where you aimed and pulled the trigger. The virtual targets react to getting shot. Real life scenarios are played out and there are both shoot and don't shoot situations that you have to make snap decisions on. Crazy man with a knife, convenience store robbery, and other scenarios available. $45 for 30 minutes is what I remember seeing on their website. Hell, you can blow through that much live ammo with a real gun in that time. This would be great for the gals that are sitting on the fence about getting a firearm for protection, but are unsure about handling a gun for the first time with live ammo.
