Spacers and/or bfh mod. Which wheels?

REDRAGTOPRS 09-23-2011 06:54 AM

I have 2008 Z06 wheels on my T/A, and the only thing that I did due to personal preference, was installed 5/8" spacers on the back wheels only....The backspacing on the rear rims is not correct for an F-body.....

i am thinking the spacers were $100 or something.

it's not a spacer, so much as an adapter.

i was thinking they are big coin.

i could NOT BFH my Z06 rims onto a ~98 Firebird

The c6 wheels I have. A potential buy is trying to find out what he needs to put them on a 4th gen fbody.

we'll the spacers on the monte carlo fit?

98Camarod 09-23-2011 08:54 AM

I had c5 z06 rims on mine and the rear tires were 295s. I had to do the BFH mod and I got them to fit. They were extremely close to the LCA's but never rubbed. The backspacing isn't right for the fbody as mentioned already
