One can only Hope that the New Management makes some well needed changes at Dorchester...........I'll be there next Sunday. A friend is going to lend me his MT 275/60 15's to use on the GT500 (I hope they will fit).... Hopefully I can Hook with them and will see what kind of times it will put down while still stock....I would be happy to see some high 7's atleast.........I'm also taking the GN along with me too, I have the Boost set a bit higher this go around. With the cooler weather I'm hoping for some high 6's (keeping my fingers crossed here). The last time I was out at the track was last year..
.. The temps were like 95/96 degrees and I was running 20# of Boost and shooting methenol. Best time was a 7.4 @ 97mph with a 1.6ish 60ft...I really need some slicks to help me some more off the line. I currently have the Boost set at 25# (now that the engine's broke in). After I see what times she puts down, I'll put some good gas in her and turn the wick up to 30#'s (at a later date)......That's as far as I dare turn the Boost up on her. My wife will drive the Shelby to the track for me Sunday and I the GN. Laurie will not run the Shelby down the track, as she will be recording the runs. I might need a volunter to run it down the track, while I'm in the next lane with the GN...
... Would need someone that knows how to row the gears, someone with experience that is.
