They need to make money so I can deal with $5 for a burger, so long as its family friendly and the track is hooking. I know it's been awhile but wasn't food at Lowcountry over priced? But the atmosphere and especially the crowd made up for it IMO.

if you look at the number of people working, the number of hours they are open, and the amount of paid attendees, you can see that $20 per car is not making much money.
it costs a LOT of money to do anything now. I did not mind buying the food at Bowman, because making a bit off food, helps them stay open.
they have to make a dollar, or else they close. just like lowcountry did.
