Is #8 injector at the end of the run on the fuel rail for that side? If so, it reminds me of an ass kicker a fellow mechanic friend of mine had. He kept getting misfire codes on the rear two cylinders. He swapped damn near everything he could to other cylinders to see if he could get the misfires to move. It turned out to be the fuel rails were full of junk toward their back ends and starving the rear injectors. Apparently, the fuel filter must have had a breach and let some junk through.
