Just got a Garmin 305 for my birthday to keep track of my running data and heart rate. I run 1.5 miles in high 11's but am hoping to get it down in the low 11's before the year's end.
I really like running but I don't really enjoy going past 3-4 miles. Any farther than that, and my mind begins wandering too much and starts to give my body convincing reasons to stop running.
Once I start thinking about slowing to a walk during the run...it's only a matter of time before my body follows.
