So the car that I drove everyday for the last month isn't a street car because I changed my tires at the strip? What if I drove up there on DOT approved slicks? Or if I put it on a trailer with street tires on?
I'm just trying to figure this all out. In this thread I've learned a lot. Or....been confused a lot. So does it matter that I take my car on road trips? Florida, Maryland, and PA in the year or so. With AC and all other factory equipment. But it's no longer a street car because I run on slicks and will use a trailer if available?
This shit is all pretty stupid.
I'll be the first to admit that the term "street car" doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot in this state. After all....what does it take to get a car registered here? Pay your taxes on it. That's it. No inspections, emissions, etc. But...some of the rules brought up here are just stupid.
