Some pics I snapped of the goat last time I was back in my home town. Mine sits and waits too in my dad's shop. I work on it when I go back to home town. The undercariage is completly done only thing left on the interior is to put the new uphostery on the driver seat. There are covers on them but thats for protection. Car has 42,356 original miles on the odometer and is a XS coded 4 speed car also known as Ram Air 1 and very rare. Body work is 95% finished. Its also numbers matching. Me and my dad worked on it for years before I joined the service and it was his baby he did a lot of awesome things with it like the motor listed below, but found out he had cancer way too late and got to sick to continue on it. I worked my ass off on it and he got to drive it a couple times with the mods but then got to sick and passed, Its mine now and I wont ever get rid of it. It sits on jack stands now with stabil in the tank. I break it out of the garage when I go home and take her in town to see old friends and stuff, and work on it when I am there. To me its a constant reminder of how short life is. Also a lot of good memories in it. First roll race with my dad at 8 years old, kicked the shit out of a fox. It was mildly modified then. First burn out, even learned to drive on the old farm roads in it.
Whats done to it.
492 cubic inch Butler rotating assembly 13.5:1 has to run on race gas or E-85 only there are not a lot of corn stations out west.
Butler ported 670 Cast heads
3 different intake setups; 66 Tri power, Vic Jr with 850, and I have a offenhowser dual quad with twin holley 650s. Went back to the vic as the car was averaging 6mpg with a 3.08 gear
Butler spec solid roller. 850/850" 256/250 on a 110
M-22
Borg & Beck clutch
Hayes flywheel
Hooker super comp headers
3.5" exhaust with cutouts and flowmaster single chambers.
Man why the hell did I get into FI computer controlled cars, it seems so much simpler to go fast with one of these setups. lol
