No. But the double action is quite stiff, not foolproof but you pretty much have to try to pull the trigger as opposed to snagging it on something. You pretty much can't snag the low profile hammer either. Once it's cocked though it has a very light trigger pull. It can be locked though, comes with a small key to lock the hammer.
Quickshot has some smaller carry type loaners, Glocks and I think a Ruger SP-101. Like I said, I'd happy to have you as a guest and wifey can shoot the Taurus and anything else you bring and anything the range has, the only cost being the ammo.
