Yeah that's not really going to help with washout. I was trying to politely tell you that you need to take care of it without me sounding like a know it all.
Looking at your pictures, the washout will happen the next time it rains. The grade on the dirt will not help. Do yourself a favor and get some sod or gravel down around the base of the building as soon as you can. The building may be connected to the slab, but the dirt under the slab will not be there long if you don't do something soon. Looks great though, I'd like to have a shop like that myself!
