After owning many custom carbs I have figured out quite a few things. The biggest thing is with a custom carb it usually cutts down on the testing and tuning quite a bit, instead of floundering around trying to figure out jetting, bleeds, size of carb, ect. I tried the test and tune thing which you will eventually find the right carb/jet size, only to call AED order a carb for about $150.00 more then the plain Holley and pick up 1.5tenths and 3 MPH in the eighth, and I only set the idle, and metering screws, dispite my best efforts.
