I feel like the old one here, cause I have been going to Dorchester since it opened, and know the family that ownes it very well. They do have some issues that need to be addressed, but I have never had any problems with anyone out there. I am not really a grudge racer either, but I have to admit I enjoy the grudge racing and espicially some of the negotiations, they can be funny as hell. If those types bother you got to the other side or even up by the starting tower is pretty safe as well. They usually do the grudge thing at the far end, and the cops are not going to do anything about the grudge thing, cause they are not on the streets doing it, eventhough that is questionable. I have to agree with Josh and a few others, cause the staging lanes need to be locked down to racers and crew. You can see good from both sides of the track, and people not racing or little kids have no business in the staging lanes. Race organization is the only other thing that gets to me. If a race is supposed to start at 7, then start at 7. If you are late you miss it, be on time next time. Unless something happened on the track to make it start later. I really see no reason for a sportsman bracket with 20 to 40 cars take til midnight or after to complete, when it is supposed to start at 7. I have spoke to the guys running it now, and they are trying to make some changes, but they have so many requests thrown at them, I guess you eat an elephant a bite at a time. I think the big things that would help the most is locking down the staging lanes, and better organizining the race, because then you could get the cars to come that doesn't, due to the cluster. Now a normal Sunday test and tune, all bets are off. Just my .02 cents..
