Trusting in the Lord

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding." Proverbs 3: 5
Today people are trusting in everything but the Lord. They are placing their trust in their money, 401k, Stocks and bonds, in property. They are placing trust in people and even their own abilities. It is for this reason that so many people have lost hope and are at rocks bottom. The fact of the matter is this, there is nothing else that one can place their trust in EXCEPT Jesus! We have no control over the matters of our future, nor our present. People have placed false hopes in Government, only to come up discouraged. If people by faith, will place their trust in the Lord, they will come to find out that Jesus is the only one that we can have faith in that HE WILL COME THROUGH FOR US!

If we are going to Trust in the Lord, we must do it with ALL our heart, not leaning to our understanding, because in Isaiah 55:8-9 the Word of God tells us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

The only way is by faith, without faith no man can please God. It is by Faith in believing in the Lord for guidance and help that we are given all things. It may not have made sense to the other disciples for Peter to get out of the Boat, but to the World, trusting in the Lord goes beyond all understanding.
