Old Paths

Jeremiah 6: 16 "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein. "

WOW! Have Christians ever strayed from the Old paths around the world today! Our Homes are different, our Churches are different, and our Nation is different. The reason for the difference is that the Christians have strayed from the Old Paths. Christians have chosen their own paths, their own ways, to the ways of man that we feel more comfortable in.

Husbands and wives, you need to understand that the further away from the Old Paths that you walk, your children will walk yet further away from the Old Paths than you. It will also affect your church; it will be two more votes for your church to drift away to a more liberal state.

Oh, we Christians still look pretty godly when we compare our homes to the worldly places, the bars, or the clubs, but if you compare your home to the Home of the Bible, you will be ashamed at what you have become.
