clubracergt1 Personally, I would go with c-clip eliminators. That way, if you break an axle, it will stay in the housing.
+1 on both. The 8.8 will be fine at that level with the mods above. We have both in the chevelle and drive it on the street a lot with no problems. We also have 33 spline strange axles.
