So far, it shifts pretty FIRM going into 2nd and 3rd. But need to adjust timing to really wake her up.

Hal, give me a call when you get some free time with that "new" Blazer of yours. I would like to go for a ride to see how that particular shift kit does behind a stock converter. That 4L60-E is the first one I have done with the milder version of the Transgo shift kit. All my performance 4L60-E builds get the full bore Transgo HD-2 kit. That milder version shift kit is mainly for towing enhancement and taking the factory sloppiness out and it is only half the cost of the HD-2 kit.
When I did the rebuild on that unit, Darryl was still planning on keeping the Blazer. Darryl said the previous owner was the original owner since new and had to put 3 or 4 GM reman transmissions in it due to pulling an oversized camper all the time through the mountains. Darryl didn't feel comfortable not knowing how much heavy towing was on that last GM reman when he got the truck, so he shuffled it to me and I went through it and took care of the factory slop.
