If the clunkers program was a business, it be a failure. The dealers can't collect from the gov't. Used auto parts people will be hurt. There is a value in having these clunkers in a junkyard. The motors, car parts ect... are worth a lot more than scrap metal. Some of those cars may need to be scrapped but most could be used for parts. In the end, they are giving the manufacturers money, no matter how you disguise it. I'm glad my tax dollars can go toward this
wonderful program.
No crying here, but can't believe the waste.
